Reporting To: Head of Technical Services, Parts & Harvesting

About the Job: To support the successful implementation of the stripping down of systems for parts, in line with the agreed procedure. The role involves liaising with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure that high standards are maintained, all components are removed and preserved in excellent condition, unwanted parts are disposed of correctly and the CRM is updated accurately in a timely manner. The role also involves the completion of appropriate paperwork, ensuring that the calibration of test equipment belonging to Probo is kept up to date and assisting with in-house jobs, including QA’s and refurbishments.

This is what we need you to do...

  • To support with the stripping down of systems for parts, in line with the agreed procedure
  • To ensure that parts are correctly labelled and in excellent condition.
  • To complete all paperwork in a timely manner so that jobs can be completed within the CRM.
  • To utilize documentation to identify accurate part numbers.
  • To maintain the CRM and ensure that information is kept up to date and accurate.
  • To assist with QA checks of systems arriving at Probo, including any data deletion that may be required.
  • To ensure that your working areas are maintained and remain clean and tidy.
  • To undertake other duties related to the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
  • To assist with in-house services and customer repairs as required
  • To ensure that the calibration of test equipment belonging to Probo is kept up to date and valid.

Monitoring and ongoing development of outcomes

As part of the annual appraisal, outcome-based targets will be developed in conjunction with the post holder and will supplement this job profile. The job profile will be subject to regular review and Probo reserves its right to amend or add to the accountabilities listed above.

The Postholder will have:

Experience

  • Building and maintaining productive relationships
  • Engineering experience in the relevant modality/modalities and across a range of different systems

Knowledge, Skills and Understanding

  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office
  • The ability to interpret complex instructions and system manuals
  • Ability to make considered logical and rational decisions in a timely manner and communicate them clearly.
  • Ability to manage expectations.
  • The ability to work safely taking into consideration others around them.
