We are seeking to appoint a qualified teaching assistant to support a child 1:1 in our Y6 class. The position is fixed term linked to specific funding. The successful candidate will be required to work 16 hours per week (4 mornings 8:30- 12.30) term time only. Hours can be flexible for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience and expertise in supporting children with SEND
• Build positive relationships and be a role model for the children.
• Be able to support the adaptation of learning activities
• Demonstrate and promote pupils’ enthusiasm.
• Have experience of communicating effectively with parents and education professionals.
• Support the ethos of the school and have a ‘can do’ attitude
• Have high expectations of pupils and themselves.
• Be flexible, patient and a real team player.

In addition, experience of working with EHCPs, and pupils with neurodiveristy would be very beneficial.
