We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly committed part-time Teaching Assistant to join the staff team of our friendly and successful school.

The successful candidate will:
• Provide learning support for children under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
• Be passionate about the right of every child to receive the best start to their learning journey.
• Be well supported by our caring, hardworking staff team and governing body.
• Join an inclusive, nurturing school, committed to developing the potential of every child and adult.
• Work with our amazing, friendly and caring children who love learning

Qualifications and experience –
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of working with young children within a mainstream primary school setting.
• Have experience delivering a range of interventions.
• Have a good level of English and Maths.
• Early Years Educator Qualification would be desirable but not essential.

The hours are based on 5 mornings (8.45am to 12.15pm). Hours will be allocated depending on the needs of the school. This could be working some mornings and some full days. There will be opportunity to work additional hours as required, such as lunchtime support or afternoons. We are prepared to be flexible on the hours for the right candidate.
The post holder will be required to work term time only, plus 1 week for INSET days.
