General teacher to teach across subjects. Main scale/UPS, full time. To start as soon as possible.

We are seeking to appoint a general teacher to work in our unique school. This position would also suit primary trained. The ability to teach a combination of maths and science is desirable but not essential. There is an opportunity to teach to GCSE level in either or both subjects. You will be part of a passionate and dedicated team making a real difference to children and young people’s lives. We are looking for someone who possesses a variety of special skills which can be used when working with young people.

Abbey View School is an alternative provision free school, catering for up to 40 pupils (age 11 to 16) who are at risk of exclusion from main stream education. Abbey View School provides its students with a chance to reflect and reform within a happy, safe and supportive environment, which promotes sound emotional well-being and safe lifestyles.
