We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team to provide a combination of general classroom support, 1 to 1 support for a child and lunchtime supervision/support.
Are you someone who is able to provide effective support to children, enabling them to achieve their best, and become confident and independent learners?
The post is for 5 days a week, 17.5 hours in total, 3.5 hours per day. The post is a fixed term contract but there may be opportunity for it to be extended.
The successful applicant must:
• Have a passion for working with children to bring out their best attributes
• Be enthusiastic and committed to working as a member of a team
• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
• Be able to support a child’s non-teaching time by promoting a relaxed, calm and safe
lunchtime period.
• Be willing to contribute fully to busy school life

The successful candidate will need to have experience of supporting learning in a primary school and experience of working with children with speech and communication needs.
