On site are a range facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms, and specialized equipment to support our students' learning and development.


You in the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe learning difficulties. Each student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), outlining their individual needs and goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students in the classroom
Assisting with classroom activities and resources
Supporting students during breaks and lunchtime
Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (EHCP)


Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of working within a SEND setting or with SEND students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A compassionate and patient approach
The ability to work as part of a team


Desirable Skills and Knowledge
While not essential, the following skills and knowledge would be advantageous:
Makaton or British Sign Language (BSL)
Autism training
Therapy training, such as music therapy
