Pittville Circus and Charlton Kings Day Nursery

Berkhampstead Day Nurseries are looking for an exceptional Senior Lead Nursery Practitioner to work with children aged 3 months to 5 years, working at either our Pittville Circus or Charlton Kings Day Nursery site. The role would entail stepping into the Room leads role, in their absence and supporting the room.

With our brand-new Charlton Kings Nursery opening we have a range of senior lead positions, ranging from our Bearcubs room 3 - 15 months, Cuddly Bears 15 months to 2 year, Fuzzy Bears 2 – 2.5 years, Teddy Bears 2.5 – 3.5 years and our Wise Bears room 3.5 years to 5.
The Day Nurseries are split across 5 bright and versatile rooms. We follow the Curiosity

Approach and encourage the children to grow, thrive and learn using natural open-ended resources. Our "In the moment planning" system, ensures that we continually provide exciting, engaging and challenging learning opportunities for each individual child.

A minimum Level 3 childcare qualification is preferable for this role; however, a minimum
level 2 qualification and 2 years’ experience in a childcare setting would be an advantage.
