Gloucester - Permanent - Shift 4on4off (Days & nights) £50,000 including Shift allowance

Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias, looking to join a thriving manufacturing team? This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer with practical experience in a manufacturing environment.

The role:

Deliver effective and efficient maintenance , ensuring continued operations 24/7.
Supporting site operations , carrying out wide range of electrical and instrumentation activities.
Ensure reactive and r outine maintenance is completed to support plant critical systems and equipment.
Ensuring e quipment performance and reliability.
Complete First line fault finding and diagnostics.
Support of Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.

The Person:

Experience of the practical aspects of maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Successful completion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship; or NVQ Level 3 or a National Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline or equivalent.
W ork effectively, both independently and as part of a t eam.
Experience p lan ning , prioritis ing and schedul ing your work in a busy manufacturing environment.
A bility to work with Computer Based Maintenance Planning systems.
A bility to work under pressure.
HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering - Desirable
PLC experience desirable particularly on Siemens systems - Desirable
