Advanced Volunteer - Sunday - F&E Shop

Do you have some free time?  Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience and/or take a lead role in an well-established charity shop?

This is a great opportunity, running the F&E shop on Sundays.  Located just off the popular and buzzy Bath Road, the shop will be open 11.00 am - 2.00pm to make the most of the busiest times.   

Representing the charity in this key role, responsibilities will include:

• Operating the till and optimising sales
• Opening and closing the shop
• Cashing up
• Customer facing
• Handling donation requests
• Pricing and display of items

Full training will be offered including working with the Manager and Assistant Manager prior to running the shop. 

This will appeal to a self-motivated person who is looking to learn new skills, gain valuable experience as part of their career development and, to enhance their CV.  BRC offers both mandatory and additional training modules to support all those involved in the organisation.   

It is possible that this will be on a rota basis, shared with 1-2 others. 

Due to lone working conditions, this role is only open to those who are 18 or over
