About The Team & Role

The Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub has been created to provide a central source of information and support for residents and businesses.  The aim is to help residents access learning and work opportunities, as well help employers get the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.  We are a team of dedicated professionals who thrive on helping people to achieve their learning and employment aspirations.  

This exciting role involves working with employers to understand the benefits of and overcome any resistance to employing people with complex barriers to employment. You will have an important role in identifying opportunities for the Employment and Skills Hub customers to gain sustainable paid employment and positively influence other Gloucestershire employers to recruit and retain.

About You

We are looking for applicants who would like to join the Employment and Skills Hub Employer Engagement Team, where the work is varied, and interesting, no two days are the same. We would like applicants who are innovative, creative and able to work on own initiative. Have experience working with employers and supporting people with employability barriers.
